Telegram: From High-Risk to Controlled Ecosystem

Telegram remained the primary online piracy distribution channel, particularly through private and large-scale public groups.

Our enforcement impact is evident:

• Channels detected reduced from 3,100+ (Jan) to 1,300+ (March)
• Channel terminations executed consistently, disrupting distribution networks
• Over 5.4 million subscribers impacted cumulatively, cutting off access to pirated content at scale

The steady decline in both channel volume and subscriber reach indicates not just reactive takedowns, but systemic disruption of piracy networks.
